This privacy policy governs the use of SabziSetu, a service operated by Adri IT Solutions. SabziSetu is a vegetable demand forecasting platform that connects households with local vendors through WhatsApp. By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use SabziSetu:

• Personal information: your name and phone number (WhatsApp number), provided during household registration.
• Address information: your society, area, and city, used to map you to a delivery zone.
• Location data: GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), collected once during registration if you grant permission.
• WhatsApp messages: messages you send to our WhatsApp Business number, which are parsed for vegetable names and quantities.
• Vegetable demand data: the vegetables and quantities you request, stored as survey responses and aggregated demand.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Forecast vegetable demand for your society and area, so vendors can stock the right quantities.
• Connect you with local vendors who serve your society for fresh vegetable delivery.
• Improve the service by analysing aggregate demand patterns and optimising delivery routes.
• Communicate with you via WhatsApp for registration verification, demand collection, and post-delivery feedback.

WhatsApp Data

We process WhatsApp messages solely for the purpose of parsing vegetable demand (names and quantities). Messages are received via the official WhatsApp Business API webhook, processed by our system, and the extracted demand data is stored. Your WhatsApp messages are not shared with any third parties and are not used for advertising or any purpose other than operating the SabziSetu service.

Data Sharing

We share aggregated, anonymised demand data with local vegetable vendors mapped to your society. This includes total vegetable quantities needed per society, but does not include your personal details (name, phone number, or individual order).

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not share your personal information for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.

Location Data

GPS coordinates are collected once during household registration, only if you grant browser location permission. This data is used to map your household to the correct delivery area and to help vendors plan efficient delivery routes. Location data is not continuously tracked or collected beyond the initial registration.

Cookies

SabziSetu uses minimal cookies. We use only essential session cookies required for admin authentication (via NextAuth). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

Third-party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate SabziSetu:

• WhatsApp Business API (Meta) — for sending and receiving messages with households and vendors.
• Vercel — for hosting the web application.
• Neon — for PostgreSQL database hosting.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your Rights
